My time at the 2013 CMA Music Festival

Hello Everyone,

I just returned from an action packed week involving performances, appearances and interviews at the 2013 CMA Music Festival in Nashville, Tennessee. This was my first time at the CMAfest and it could not have been more rewarding, more exhausting or more fun! I began the week participating in the Kick Off Parade – riding in the back of a red  Silverado!

I ended the week signing autographs at the Chevrolet booth that took
an hour to clear. I never imagined folks would wait that long just to meet me and I have to say it was very flattering.

It’s hard to describe what the CMA Festival is like – it’s sort of a
Disneyland for Country music lovers! Everyone is having a ball, artists and fans alike.

I performed a set at CMR Nashville's 3rd Annual International Acoustic Show at the Whiskey Bent Saloon and fans really seemed to like my live interpretation of my new single, "I Guess That Says It All."  A live acoustic performance video of the single can be seen HERE

I also did a set at the Nashville Convention & Visitors Bureau Stage and a set at the CHEVROLET Roadhouse Acoustic Stage both of which drew a large number of international fans.  It was great to be able to connect with so many people, and get immediate positive feedback on how much they liked my music. Nothing is more rewarding than that!

Interspersed between performances I did interviews with television, radio and print outlets and had a chance to stop by the studios of Zuus (formerly TCN) to offer a personal thank you for keeping my debut Country video, Dream On Savannah, in their rotation.   The clip is also posting good numbers on
YouTube with over 200,000 views to date. It's touching how many emails I've received from young girls who heard me sing the song last week.  It has a powerful message that is really reaching people and that is so gratifying.

I’m already making plans to return to Nashville for the 2014 CMA Music Festival, you should too!

Thanks, as always, for your support.

Best,
Joanna

Exciting News and Upcoming Nashville Performances

“Let It All Begin is solid album.  It is an asset to any traditional or modern Country music fan’s record collection.  Joanna stands out as one of Nashville’s brightest female up-and-coming talents…her soaring vocals are reminiscent to those of Country songstress Reba McEntire.” – Markos Papadatos, Examiner.com

Happy Spring almost Summer!

I’m so ready for warmer weather, aren't you? My spring has been very busy and full of opportunity and the summer is looking even better! I just found out I’ve been invited to perform at Fan Fest at the CMA MUSIC FESTIVAL in Nashville! I’m thrilled and very excited! I have two performances scheduled –  on Thursday, June 6th from 5:00pm to 6:00pm  I’ll be at the Bridgestone Glass Tower in concert  sponsored by the Nashville Convention and Visitor's Bureau and on Sunday, June 9th at 2:30pm I'll be performing on the CMA Chevy Acoustic Stage.  If you aren’t familiar with Fan Fest here is a link to a site that can fill you in on everything! http://www.cmaworld.com/cma-music-festival/2013/home.

I recently returned from an action packed trip to Nashville, where I was fortunate enough to be involved in some fund raising charity events and had a chance to do several interviews promoting my new EP, Let It All Begin, and my new single, I Guess That Says It All.

During my trip I had a great time participating in the Christmas 4 Kids Celebrity Golf Tournament. My foursome was with three great ladies who could really hit the ball and they were so much fun to be with!  We had a wonderful time on the links.  This tournament was hosted by the Bluegrass Duo, The Roys, who are incredibly talented and just simply lovely people. It was a great day.

One of the high points of my trip was being the Featured Artist of the Week on Renegade Radio. I did an interview with my good buddy, DJ Captain Jack (who is always great fun) and I want to let Renegade Radio know how much I appreciate their support for my music and my career. Also, thanks for featuring the video of my single, Dream On Savannah, in your “Hot Video Picks.”

One of my interviews during my Nashville trip was with the lovely and talented Kayla Becker for The Kayla Becker Show.  At the end of the interview, she’s included an acoustic video performance of my new single, I Guess That Says It All.  I hope you like it!!!

The trip was wonderful and I got to hang out with some old and new friends in addition to all my interviews and appearances. I love that city – it has such vibrancy and there is music happening everywhere you turn. I can’t wait to return next month!

That’s all for now! Please let me know if you will be at either of my performances at the CMA Music Festival on June 6th or June 9th – I would love to be able to say hello to you in person!

Thanks, as always, for your support!
Joanna
