Hi All,
2013 is starting off very well for me! I have just been added to the featured artist page on Renegade Radio and CMT.com has added my music video for my single, Dream On Savannah, to their site.
RenegadeRadioNashville.com has made history as the first Internet radio station of any genre in the world to receive trade magazine reporting status. Just six short months after their live launch on June 8, 2011, Music Row Magazine named RenegadeRadioNashville.com as the first ever Internet Radio Station to report their weekly playlist. As a reporting station, Renegade joins the Music Row Panel in determining the artists that will top the country music radio charts.
CMT is the leading television and digital authority on country music and lifestyle entertainment. CMT and CMT.com offer an unparalleled mix of music, news, live concerts and series. CMT.com is the top resource for country music on demand.
I simply could not be more thrilled or honored to have my music featured on these two prestigious sites!

I need your Vote!
Hi Everyone,
I hope and pray that everyone has recovered or is recovering from Hurricane Sandy. It has been a tough 2 weeks for the folks in New York, New Jersey and Connecticut, including myself. I know I'm fortunate though compared to some.
Last week, I e-mailed you to tell you that my new music video was accepted by one of the top music video sites for country music in the United States, GACtv. Well today, I'm writing you because I just received some incredible news that my video is under consideration to be played on one of the most watched television stations for country music in the United States. This would be a real game changer for me and my career.
One of the criteria that will decide whether my video will be played on television is how many people watch my video on GACtv so I am asking if you have a spare moment to please click on to my video link at (GACtvhttp://www.gactv.com/gac/video/?c=5189&videoid=0190755.com) to watch the video. It could make the difference on whether my video makes it to television or not. Thank you so much for all of your support!!!
Best,
Joanna

EP Release and Upcoming Video Release
Hi Everybody,
I hope you had a great Labor Day weekend!
I’m thrilled to announce the release of my new EP, Let It All Begin. I’m really happy with the six songs on the new EP. It includes a mix of everything - a couple up-tempo tunes to sing along with as well as those ballad songs that will rip your heart out.
So far the reviews have been great. I recently did an interview with Markos Papadatos, a writer at the Examiner. Below is a quote from Markos:
“This album is solid. It is an asset to any traditional or modern country music fan’s record collection. Joanna stands out as one of Nashville’s brightest female up-and-coming talents…her soaring vocals are reminiscent to those of country songstress Reba McEntire.” – The Examiner
I also want to let you know that my first single from the EP, Dream On Savannah, which I released last month, is doing great and rapidly climbing up the Music Row charts. I want to thank you all for your support of the single and let you know that I’m shooting a music video for the single this month which will be released on October 1, 2012. I can’t wait for you to see it!
Please check out my website, www.JoannaMosca.com, where you can download the EP directly, and my Facebook page, www.Facebook.com/JoannaMoscaMusic
Thanks, as always, for your support!

News about my new single, Dream On Savannah!
Hey Everyone,
I hope you all are having a great summer. I just wanted to share some exciting news. My latest single, Dream On Savannah, from my new EP, Let It All Begin, has just been released to country radio and early reviews have been great. I’m so excited about this song. It really captures the essence of who I am and the obstacles and doubt I've had to overcome in high school and later in my life when I decided to pursue a career in music. I hope the song touches you the same way it touches me, please enjoy.
Please stop by my website www.JoannaMosca.com if you want to hear the new song! The song is also available for purchase on I-tunes.
I also wanted to let you know that I’ll be making an announcement about the official release of my new EP in the days to come, stay tuned.
Thanks, as always, for your support!
Happy Summer,
Joanna

Hello Everyone!
Hope you are having a wonderful and colorful spring. Everything is in bloom everywhere I look and that always makes me smile, and sometimes sneeze! The past couple of months have been very busy for me and I wanted to let you know what I have been up to!
I recently spent some time in beautiful Nashville, Tennessee where I recorded the vocals for two brand new songs for my soon to be released EP entitled “Let It All Begin.” I’m once again working with Grammy winner Bryan White who is producing this EP. One of the songs I’m doing called, "I Guess That Says it All", was also written by Bryan. (He’s a multi-talented guy!) It's a beautiful, heartbreaking song which I can't wait for you to hear. (It's always more fun to record the "tear your heart out songs.” I don't know why!) I had great fun with Bryan and engineer Jason in Bryan's beautiful studio. I’ll be back in Nashville soon to record a few more song and we should be ready for a late spring release. I’ll keep you posted!
In February I attended the Annual Country Radio Seminar held in Nashville. This event brings Country Radio people from all over the world together for educational meetings, networking, performances and fun. I saw some great performances by Lady A, Darius Rucker, Faith Hill, George Strait, Alan Jackson, I’m Josh Turner, Lee Ann Womack and some American Idol alumni, Scotty McCreery and Lauren Alaina. (I met Scotty and he's as sweet and humble as he seemed when he was on the show.)

During the day I did radio and magazine interviews and met some wonderful people working in the journalism area of the Country Radio industry.
Christian Lamitschka from Germany’s Country Music International
David Pierce from Today’s Country Magazine
Steve Martin from Lexington Broadcasting
CRS after hours was another whole event. As you might imagine, there were lots of bands playing in town, numerous parties and several late nights. My favorite place, however, was the infamous Bridge Bar at the Renaissance Hotel which is the place to be during CRS weekend!
Nashville is truly one of the best cities in the South for “comfort food”, and my favorite comfort food haunt in Nashville is called Rotier's. I went there on my last night and it was fried catfish and grits night. OMG. Heaven! I also indulged in one of their famous milkshakes! The entire meal was pure joy!
It was a wonderful and exciting trip full of people who are absolutely passionate about Country music, from performers, to journalists to fans. I can’t wait to attend next year’s seminar!
Happy Spring,
Joanna

Happy Holidays!
I hope this newsletter finds everyone doing well during this wonderful season.
As a kick off to my holiday season, I spent a week in Nashville, TN, performing, meeting with DJs, songwriters, doing interviews and making many new friends along the way.
The first part of my visit included performing at the legendary Bluebird Cafe. This place is full of country music history. We played to a very appreciative packed house full of people who listened to every lyric and note. I loved working with my amazing guitarist, Shayne Hill (you may remember his name from the very successful band, Sawyer Brown!). In addition to the photos below, there are video clips of the show on my Facebook Fan Page, Reverbnation and MySpace.
I had the pleasure to attend a meet and greet holiday party at the Country Music Association and Nashville Songwriters Association International, of which I'm a member. Always great to connect with new people and discuss this ever evolving music industry.
I also did a radio interview and performance with the wonderful DJ Captain Jack at Renegade Radio. Captain Jack is a live wire and so much fun to talk to! I had a blast. Jack is a New Jersey native who is now happily living in Nashville.
My publicists, PLA Media held their holiday party at Pie in the Sky Pizza, and the party was followed by a songwriter's night at the Hotel Indigo in Nashville's West End. This was a really great night! I performed with three extremely talented singer/songwriters and met many cool people, one of whom was the famous singer from the 60s/70s, Melanie! (Brand New Key, Look What They've Done To My Song, Ma, and Ruby Tuesday, to mention a few!) She gave a surprise performance following our show. I had a chance to speak with her after the show and she was so warm and down to earth.
Interspersed with performances and meetings, I had the opportunity to have two songwriting sessions with some Grammy winning writers. I left Nashville with two new tunes - a good creative start going into the new year!
Really, the only downside of the week was dealing with the torrential rains for five days. That's always hard on one's "performance hair!" But honestly, if that's all I have to complain about, I know I'm doing really good!
At the end of the week I performed at the Ronald McDonald House in Nashville. The house is a very warm and cozy Victorian style home, and was decorated so beautifully for the holiday season.
I sang for many children and their families, and they were so appreciative to have me there. There was a deaf mother and her son staying there, and the boy wanted to sit with me while I sang, which was great by me, and his mother signed all the songs while I sang. They were a very lovely family. Also while there I spoke with several Mom's whose babies were born with birth defects who were staying at the Ronald McDonald house so they could visit their children at Vanderbilt Hospital. My thoughts and prayers go out to them and their families. These were some very brave and remarkable women.
After my work was done for the week, I rewarded myself with a great comfort food meal with friends at Rotier's in Nashville. This restaurant is an institution, a real hole in the wall, and a perfect comfort food destination. Yummm to the grilled cheeseburger with all the fixings and hash brown casserole!
I had a great trip and made lots of music, memories and friends. I wish you and yours all the very best this holiday season and for the New Year.
Thanks, as always, for your support,
Joanna
